The Parkway Athletic Booster Club announces a 21 and over event, “Night at the Races”. Attendees are encouraged to purchase presale tickets to the Kentucky Derby style of event held at the Rockford community building. The doors open at 6:00pm. Attendees tickets include meal, draft beer, pop, water, and snacks. Activities include a one night Queen of Hearts drawing, pull tabs, 50/50, tip boards, bucket raffles, and best derby hat contest.

They can also be found on the new Parkway Athletic Booster Clubs website (parkwayathleticboosters.com). Presale tickets are $25/person or $40/couple. Tickets at the door are $30/person or $50/ couple. Attendees are also able to purchase “The Sure Thing” which includes 8 tickets and a reserved table for $350.
Businesses can support in this fundraising event by being a Corporate Event Sponsor for $500 which includes 8 tickets, reserved table near front, company name on front of programs, and 2 or 4 advertisements during races.
Attendees will also have the opportunity to sponsor a horse. There are 80 horses, and it costs $10/per horse (be creative as you would like naming your horses). The information can be found of the Parkway Athletic Booster Club’s Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter pages.
The Parkway Athletic Booster Club is a non-profit support organization with a mission to help aid and assist the Parkway Athletic Department in making Parkway athletics a success for all involved. We work together to build on the outstanding athletic tradition of our Parkway Panthers. Through community support, the Athletic Booster Club has been able to help with needs and facility upgrades for our athletic programs that include a yearly donation for athletic uniforms, new mats for track and field, softball press box, new football jerseys, baseball field reconditioning, volleyball net systems, wrestling warmups and uniforms, bowling uniform tops and many more.
